The 2012 Surrey United Development Academy Program – Winter Phase is an 8-session training program being offered on Monday nights on CAP #1 for boys and girls players in the U8-U14 age-groups.
This program will be geared towards motivated players looking to advance their current skill and playing level under the guidance of the Surrey United technical staff.
The training curriculum will involve a broad range of skills and drills in technical/tactical development of the game including speed and agility, shooting and finishing, defending, creative attacking, etc, which will assist the players in the performances throughout their soccer season. The techniques and skills taught in this program will benefit all of the participants at the upcoming team evaluations in March/April 2012
Training dates and times are as follows:
Dates:
*Winter phase* Monday nights; Jan. 9 – Feb. 27
Times:
Group 1: U8-U9, 4:45pm-6:00pm
Group 2: U10-U11, 6:00pm-7:15pm.
Group 3: U12-U14, 7:15pm-8:30pm
* These training groups are subject to change as grouping will be dependant on response received.
The cost of this program is $90 for eight (8) 75-minute sessions, plus the one-time SU Academy kit fee of $45 for all new registrants to the program. (all fall-phase participants will not have to purchase the kit again)
